Bennett turns 5

Grandson Bennett turns five years old today. It's hard to believe. It's also hard to believe the little porker he was when he was younger is maturing into a slender lad.

Benny is the middle of the three Feipel children and the oldest of the boys. I suppose he is a typical middle child in that he's pretty even-keeled and goes with the flow as much as is possible while marching to his own beat. He's never been overly aggressive or mean, but is almost always a pretty happy kid. Although, sometimes I detect that he's going to be a contemplative deep thinker, so he may bend a little melancholy. Nothing wrong with that.

The boy should grow up to be an architect or something because he's always building something. He's also a big fan of trucks and Hotwheels cars.

The poor kid has been sick with the flu for the past couple days. The pic of him up top - from this morning - suggests that maybe he is getting over it.

Always one of my favorites
